My nan used to say that if you eat all the crust on your sandwich you'll have loads of lovely curly hair.
Sitting on cold wet surfaces gives you piles.
What about the touch wood thing, anyone know how or why that came about?

Half a crown pocket money. That's twelve and a half new pence and when they swapped over to decimal you got ripped off by one black jack or fruit salad.

Unbelievably the speed they maintain, I struggle to average 18mph
I bet they can't chop tree's down all week and then go training as well.
I'd swap jobs though, even a first year continental pro earns upwards of 50k.

That's an old wives tale Mark.
I don't like cats in my garden cos they kill my frogs and fish, got a big fat goldfish with claw marks on it as well so yeah they really p me off at times but they're someone's pet so I'd never dream of hurting them.
I put a sprinkler where they sit under a conny next to the pond and you should see how high they jump when I turn it on.......

The wife spotted this face on an old stump while having a tidy up in the garden this week.
One of the best 'faces in tree's' I've ever seen.
Can anyone beat that?
