  1. My nan used to say that if you eat all the crust on your sandwich you'll have loads of lovely curly hair.

Sitting on cold wet surfaces gives you piles.

What about the touch wood thing, anyone know how or why that came about?

  2. Unbelievably the speed they maintain, I struggle to average 18mph

I bet they can't chop tree's down all week and then go training as well.

I'd swap jobs though, even a first year continental pro earns upwards of 50k.

  3. That's an old wives tale Mark.

I don't like cats in my garden cos they kill my frogs and fish, got a big fat goldfish with claw marks on it as well so yeah they really p me off at times but they're someone's pet so I'd never dream of hurting them.

I put a sprinkler where they sit under a conny next to the pond and you should see how high they jump when I turn it on.......:laugh1:

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
