  1. Have to catch up in the New year OMT....I do enjoy a drink...a lot! But I am ejoying my time without it.. will taste better at Xmas!
  2. All I am doing is trying to remove the layers of Crud that I've accumulated by comfort eating and drinking whilst detoxing my brain....and it's working.
  3. Good morning Mr Orchard...as anyone who knows me will tell you...I am full of energy pretty much 24/7...my energy levels have actually gone up! Lack of booze in my system has unlocked my brain and I am thinking clearer and faster....I find my sekf breaking into a jog when I'm walking..being lighter I feel quite athletic....always had a very strong back shoulders and arms but I am noticing my core is quite strong too! I'm Evolving!
  4. Great thread...I have sold logs from Roadside...back of my truck...in the Pub etc...just a sackful here and there.Something very satisfying about giving something that will warm someone up and bring a smile to their face.
  5. I will now only drink water....feel sustained but not full like I used to....treating my body like a temple
  6. I start the day with 2 weetabix in a small ammount of skimmed milk.....a banana or orange as a snack if I get peckish.....today's late lunch (usually fish) as I have done well I treated myself to chicken cooked the Thai way....i took 1 hour to eat it savouring the lovely flavours.
  7. Just put a fire together so I can dry my boots out and test our product...
  8. I used to gorge on food and most of the time I didn't even chew it! Just gulped it down.....now I'm enjoying small simple portions chewing each mouthful for ages and really enjoying the flavours......I am really enjoying this.
  9. My mothers been making me a granary loaf in the machine...all organic ingredients...had one slice with pea and ham soup for my evening meal.exciting saturday nite ay?

I'm watching Speed with Guy Martin.....just got in after a couple of hours with a Lass in town...just a coffee (I'm trying to see how after I feel after one month on the wagon) so one more week to go. She's just a friend but was still great to have some female company.resisted the pie stall....and the Pizza van...was easy...I'm so far into my diet that I wasn't at all tempted but did find the van rather interesting to photograph

  13. My head is clear and I feel on top of the world.
  14. My t shirts are all starting to fit:)...but my Harness,chainsaw trousers, jeans and underpants are all starting to fall down:rolleyes:
  15. Morning Mr Yaffle...I jumped on the scales just now and at 14 stone 7 lbs I am on the way to having lost 2 stone in only a few weeks!

  19. After a summer on the narrowboat I moved to this Tug...my cabin was just behind the engine room in behind the funnel.you can see the open green hatch
  20. I did enjoy living on the river...kew gardens on one side...and Brentford and the concrete jungle on the other.
  21. Again in sharp contrast...the calmer waters of the Thames...my old neighbour at sunrise.
  22. I do like water..this was my view from my front door as I emerged each morning from my narrowboat when I first lived in London.
