The North Jon. What a trip! You'll like this Mendip...I got two messages...one today offering me a week or two work in France next year and a couple of days ago....my first Hater! Here is an extract. I love it:D I offered to visit them but I doubt they will take up my offer. Oh well...can't please everyone.i am pleased they took the time to message me and hope they continue to follow the thread...I need all the attention I can get:rolleyes: goodnite Plogs....I'm shattered.

Looks a nice little saw Shavey.need to get back...made enough to buy Xmas presents.that was the idea and get to at least one corner of Britain...will never forget Zennor. Done over 1, 000 miles...T.M.T thanks for the info but I'm alcohol free till Xmas and back on the rabbit food.have a friend of a friend needs some logs at that location....

The pub next door to the church is roughly the same age as the church built in the 1300's....this place is wonderful...I dont need Lands End or the Scilly Isles...this is my end point......from here I'll travel home....now off to the place where the Mermaid lured him into the Sea!

Without reslising if have saved the best location for last...this place is so magical....ZENNOR legend has it that a Beautiful Mermaid was so in love with a local man that she lured him in to the sea and he was never seen again...when I arrived at the chuch where the famous carved seat is, there were 3 people inside..all from Newcastle! They came to Zennor 30 years ago and never left....
