  1. Go for it RC, I think I asked the same question last year before getting into this game....and had much the same response.

     

    I would recommend some rec climbing or just gym training before your 38/39 though....discovered I had very weak elbows/forearms by the second climb....ok now though!!

  2. I'm just over the bridge in Essex, have 30,31 & 38.....and not afraid of an early start!!

    Have been doing some coppicing lately for gratis in my local woods, some big stuff though as it's been neglected in recent years.

    Keen for some commercial experience, and registered self employed.

    PM on it's way.

  3. Go for it mate, I have and although not finding paid work at the moment, every minute I spend with the trees in the woods (coppicing for fun/free!) I thank my lucky stars.....no going back for me I hope.

     

    Nothing more soul destroying than office work in my opinion!
