We operate throughout the North East and North Yorkshire but also carry out works further afield when required. We predominantly carry out Local Authority, Utility and Site clearance works, however we also carry out domestic work. Due to increased workload we are currently looking for reliable and hard-working skilled and experienced operatives to join our teams. We are looking to employ between 2-4 individuals depending on qualifications and experience. Skilled Arborists: Potential applicants must hold the following: • NPTC, CS30/31/ CS38/39 CS40/41 • Preferably NPTC Utility Arboriculture Units 1, 2.1, 2.2 • Hold a full, valid driving license prefereably pre 97 but not essential • At least two years industry experience All PPE / Tools and equipment will be provided, but climbing kit would be helpful. Yardman Duties to include firewood processing, vehicle and plant cleaning, carrying out firewood deliveries and general housekeeping of a busy yard. Experienced Fitter Potential applicants will be capable of carrying out repairs and maintenance on a range of vehicles, plant and equipment including brushwood chippers,(tracekd, trailed and PTO driven) stump grinders Unimogs, tractors and and and a fleet of vehicles. Experienced Amenity and Utility Arborists Required (North East and Yorkshire) We are an Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor based in Peterlee, County Durham and cover the North East and North Yorkshire. We offer a wide range of arboricultural services to mainly commercial clients including Local Authorities, Utility Companies, Developers and Government Bodies. Applicants must hold the relevant NPTC qualifications, along with being able to work to a high standard of quality, safety and customer satisfaction. A pre-1997 or trailer qualification is an advantage but not essential. Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.   12. That's a usefull bit of kit, are you wanting to replace that with a U400 / U500 with similar set up?
  13. We've had a Vermeer 352 for 7 or 8 years and we love it, plenty of grunt, productive and very reliable. We got a 70-15 a few years ago when we started doing large scale removals in parks and highways, the extra power, tracks and remote control make all the difference when you have larger scale sites. We have put more aggressive mini-digger type tracks on it as it tended to slide around on slopes. The vermeer still does around 80% of the domestic works though.
  14. I'm up for a reunion any time you like mate, next time your up give me a shout and we'll have a catch up over a pint or two in Durham (like the good old days). I might be able to sort some work out for as well so you can make a working holiday if you like.
