  1. always 3 way on climbing lines but on a saw strop?
  2. out of interest what does legistation state should be used?seems a tad excessive for a 3 way to be required,
  3. i didn't know that a screw gate that has a swl stamped was not suitable for a saw strop
  4. another reason why the gomtaro sells its self to me is on sectionals when you want that little bit more cut but no need for the o2o to be started a few pulls with the gomtaro does the trick where as a curved saw wont do it.
  5. i got screw gate on my saw strop and that seems to undo it self on a regular basis so dont trust em buddy, so its 3 way for me, as for climbing line setup its prusik on line and 6m strop with pulley and prussik cord with double fishermans attaching it on crab. very nice one hand can pull up alot of slack great for walking in from long limb,
  6. hi everyone, i only just joined up, love my gomtaro saw i drifted to others in the silky range but for some reason i keep going back to gomtaro. oh and spatha every time 8 quid i think so no dearer then a pen knife.
