Thanks, took around 4/5 hrs taking it steady. Its still quite a rough finish and needs run over with a belt sander. Can see why people enjoy doing it, i enjoyed making it, even though its not fantastic. Better than just ringing it up for firewood.

These are the legs which lock underneath the bench.

Just cut slots with the chainsaw, and chiseled it out, and the back slots in, ive put wedges in the the cut to keep it extra tight.

First time I've tried making anything with a chainsaw. Nothing too complicated, just a bench i made today, since we finished work early.

You were lucky, had the same not long ago, the brake line bust under hard braking, not with a trailer though. Was the Gearbox ok after using the handbrake? Im sure the handbrake is on the propshaft isnt it? -
