1.
Hi Will - that set up is a good one to go for - maybe the granberg precision grinder to sharpen the chain nicely as well... Pricewise the mill will be £199-00+vat (minus 10% if you order before the 20th Oct - after 20th Oct there will be throw ins for arbtalk members). Chains - you can always get the prices off the website here if you need more info Chainsaw mills

 2.
I see Beau well the grinding stones come in 5/32", 3/16", 7/32", 1/4" and 5/16" although I think I may be out of the 5/16" at the mo... but I'll do you the same offer buy a grinder and I will do buy one pack of grinding stones get one free.

 3.
I think you are fine putting any of the multi mount type carving bars on it. Does it have a rim and sprocket set up? If so just change the rim over to a 1/4" rim and if thinking of selling it put on one of my cheaper zebra carving bars. If it doesn't have a rim and sprocket then you need to get hold of a 1/4" drive sprocket and this model is not featuring in the oregon selector at the moment... or another option is a quarter tip bar... just leave the existing drive sprocket on there. Rob

 4.
I would try without first Pat - I find that good maintenace and sharp chains mean the existing oiler works fine unless you are doing loads and loads of big stuff.

 5.
In fact I may just do this as an offer for today and the weekend!

 6.
It will cut 7 foot wide - we don't have the rails to go with it yet.... Price £425-00+vat

 7.
It won't let me post the quote! What is your mobile number and are you on whatsapp?

 8.
No prob yes we have both in stock

 9.
Nope this is the longest out there

 10.
Oh and yes - just select an 018 to see all the carving bar options - they are all universal mounts and will all fit on the MS150.

 11.
Ok cheers Noel appreciate the tip - we may well get that one as well

 12.
Should be going out tom and with you Thurs

 13.
Thanks for trying Ross - I will get x2 chains off to you Monday...

 14.
That's it Ross - I started the order around 2 months ago - a slow process - you can put the sugi light type dime tips on the MS150 - but the chain you need requires an additional drive link... select from the custom selector here Custom chain loops so if the bar reads 60 drive links you need to order 61...

 15.
Yep - if you go on my website Chainsawbars ? bars, chains and chainsaw accessories and sign up. Then let me know and I can set the 10% discount, Rob

 16.
Yep - they will go right dandy on a 60" bar - I have a set of 56" rails currently on my 59" Stihl bar and 090 - works a treat!

 17.
Yep you should have ordered last weekend! But a car battery is best - I don't think it would run on a charger as not enough current.

 18.
Yes only have these as a laminated version - do have them as a 20" lo pro running 91vxl Oregon chain - just change the rim on your 261 - narrower kerf and very fast cutting! But not got the sugi light type in 20"... may get some for april

 19.
Yes sure Andy - please sign up on my website Chainsawbars ? chainsaw chains, chainsaw bars and chainsaw accessories and then tell me so I can set your 10% disc, ta Rob

 20. Alright Alex - you should get your mill Tuesday.

 21. Alright Pat it'll be £235-00 + £10 = £245-00 + vat. But then 10% off so £220-50 + vat. I can put a web order up if you need.

 22. Alright TrollS - no I don't sell it. I've tried it but I don't know - I thought it seemed to cause a drop in power myself as the saw seemed to have to work harder to pull the air through... I've gone back to the original (a while ago now) and just clean it out more often and try not to cut that last plank straight off the deck... but it's not ideal I know that fine dust gets through..

 23. Arbtalk is really playing my computer up at the mo!! Go for it Phil I reckon - we've all got to start planking and carving somewhere and I'm sure whatever you make will be good. If it isn't you have so much wood there then try again - the only way you learn. Go on have a go at it. Just give us a PM if you need advice and such but bear in mind I'm no expert!

 24. Good stuff Alex - enjoy!

 25. Good stuff! I've got the G721 sawtune and also the precision grinder - have a look here alaskan mill I home of the portable chainsaw mill and I think they're bloody brilliant! And never had a problem with either. The sawtune is a great grinder - I tend to leave the saw in the mill and just sharpen from the one side.
