  1. not a chance in hell....
  2. We can always live in hope!
  3. Tree owners/ large landowners have scant regard for public safety in my county, I think the Atkins v Scott judgement is a bit dubious, it smells of an old boys club imo..
  4. I went to college there years ago, if Steve Pikes still there it will be good, though a tad old school...
  5. No pic....
  6. http://www.stantonhope.co.uk sell them too or did!
  7. I have a Pathfinder [7 seater version of the Navara] with on the dash computer, it tells me i'm getting 36mpg if I take it easy, thats not so bad imo
  8. There are some bad payers out there thats for sure, and with the economy the way it is , you can bet there will be more bad payer even total non payers! Don't know if I'd want to take on jobs over 3k these days!
  9. nice truck mate , but i'm sticking...
  10. £500 more than mine, pre-reg 08, mine will be 58 reg [not that it makes much diff] and mines mettalic paint, I have a good deal me thinks
  11. thanks for your posts chaps...
  12. Rangers come in so many specs , not saying your wrong chris but I doubt you'd get a top of the range Ranger anywhere in the country for £12k+vat
  13. As you know I love Isuzu through and through, but i've got to say the Ranger feels much more comfortable and roomy in the front..
  14. Yeah whats the deal with these nuserymen not prunning out co-dominent stems, I see it all the time, even on trees recently planted. Matty and Pete are right i'd deal with the weak union , before I got to worried about the trees condition..
  15. No telling what they have in there 4.5 acre compound...
  16. If I was after a double cab like your thinking about, i'd have bought a pre-reg 57 plate today for 12k ish, lovely one there in silver..
  17. Dagenham motors Barking or John Gross ford Ipswich they know me well.....
  18. Good pics Ed, as for OZ , I lived there fore a year, my wifes an Aussie and my kids through her have all got Aussie citizenships, we could in theory pack up and go there anytime with no hassle at all. The thing is I don't think the grass is always greener on the other side! or is it? Come on Ed, more pics mate , i'm sure you've had some great toys you can show us all..
  19. If you want a new cheap ranger, best get one soon they aren't making anymore tippers they tell me, get close to xmas or January I bet they'll be giving them away.. I think £16,000 is list price for a ranger, but don't quote me on it
  20. Can we have a few more pics i'm not getting the feel of the job lol... Seriously nice one lads , keep up the hard work! stay safe and earn a few quid!
  21. I was called out a cedar a few weeks ago looked to me like an attack of Cedar Aphid, we decompacted and added a bio-stimulant to the soil little else I could think of. My client is going to get the tree mulched as far out to the drip line as possible.. I do agree with D mc that dark area looks suspect! Where in the country is the tree SBTC?
  22. Went and paid the man today for the Ranger, the truck looks ok, feels comfortable, and if Mike and Steve say there ok, i've known them both long enough to take there word for it.. Mitsubishi is a tad on the steep side Rupe, but then I take no notice of RRP prices, I haggle for the last few pence lol, I haggled over £16 quid in the end on this new truck....
  23. Tim steer clear! with high sides they can carry less than a ton, if you remember I owned one before I bought the lorry.. The single rear wheel truck might carry a tad more, other than that they are a bomb proof truck!!
  24. Don't think about just do it, i'm selling up an loving it
  25. sorry chaps as from a few days ago i'm out of contracting..
