Is it on Oak Sean, what type?

Is it just on the one butress crease?

Are there targets?

Anyone going to carry out decay assessment?

Nice shot of the exudation.

.

This is the host.......a red oak. This limb failed about a year ago. Targets none as in a very secluded spot in the park. The limb above this one has a big split as well. As the tree is not of any significance with regards targets Royal Parks will not be concerning themselves with regards decay assessment.. There are some small new fruiting bodies on another buttress crease now.
