Just got the assender for the Andrew arbpro boots and aside the wrong side being sent I looked at the mechanism needed for rope installation and first thoughts are wtf! Anyone else feel like this. What a disappointment..

Boots and the loops for knee assender are absolutely perfect though.

Hi old mill tree care. They are great with spikes. 3rd pair I have had of this make. The pair I replaced I bought about two years ago. Normally get through a pair of other boots in 1 year. Can't falt the actual boots. Well worth spending the £ on.

They could have made a better safety catch that slots in the mount lock. But it doesn't bother me that much. Still doesn't mean I won't consider modifying it though.! ;-)

Be interested in seeing your mod. Will get the right side next week and see how much it narks me off. I use the pantin alot with srt. I find it incredible that it wasn't picked up in proto types.

Think I saw you mention this on Instagram mate. Have to say when I got mine through I felt exactly the same, but to be honest I do t notice it in the slightest anymore. Also I'm

Guessing during the design stage they must have thought it was the only practical way of doing it? I guess if it kept coming off the boot all the time it would be more of a concern.

I agree that it coming off the boot would be a problem and I guess that this is the only way that they could see a quick release would be strong enough. Still merked off with it. I guess I will get used to it.

Would have preferred an alankey setting and take it off at the end of a climb or spikes job. Can't please them all I do like the built in loop though. I will definitely post otherwise if I am to eat my words. Encouraged to hear you don't notice it anymore.
