idea's for pond cover!

guys, i have this pond that i've got to make some kind of safety fence/ net for but wondered if anyone knows of anything that looks good but very subtle

 

 

 

i was thinking of maybe making a frame out of box section steel and sink it just under the water level and then put a strong mesh over the top so you can't see it

 

any ideas would be great

Steel hooks neatly installed on corners and edge of brickwork then just stretch netting over?

If you are contemplating using steel, I assume you are competent at welding, so why not try something sculptural like this...

Hate pond covers. I fail to see the point in having a pond if you are going to whack an ugly cover over it.

 

Best to fence it off at a reasonable distance.

wow, thats some insane welding, but have no idea how to do that but it does look awesome!
