Question Pseudomonas on fraxinus ornus

i can`t get a definitive answer to the question

I`m doing a little tree inspecting at the moment and ive got to replace some fraxinus excelsior trees that have been felled due to Pseudomonas but I want to replace with fraxinus Ornus but im not sure if it also suffers with the same affliction does anyone know

 

Does Pseudomonas appear on fraxinus ornus?

 

If it does i`ve got to plant up with cheap birch and i dont want to do that.

Do you mean the branch/stem canker Pseudomonas syringae pv. fraxini? If so then I can't recall ever seeing an F. ornus with the symptoms, and I don't think it would be transmissible to replanted Fraxinus species anyway.

that will do for me I've not seen it on Manna ash either But I was warned about it so I thought 'better look it up Just in Case I don't have to put in them daft Birch now
