spraying allotments

I've been asked to spray off (roundup) a load of allotments for our local parish. I've been asked to quote for individual plots and was wondering what sort of price I should be charging. It will be with knapsack sprayer and quite precise as they are new allotments with paths in-between. Thanks in advance. Marc

Allotments are rented in in areas known as rods. Find out what that is if needed.

I'd start at £20 for 1 then do a sliding scale down to £15 for say 10 plots On a site.

As long as you are not wading through waist high brambles and gooseberry bushes, broken glass and such.

Standard allotment plot sizes are 5 pole (1/2 plot) and10 pole (full plot), a pole being five and a half yards. To put it an easier way, a 10 pole plot is about 250 square metres.

Be aware that there will be some allotment holders who are, or try to be 'green' ( in the nicest possible way. There is usually some grief from individuals who didn't want Roundup anywhere near their plot.
