Would agree with Bob. The small ones are not that great, Fine if you are rigging off small pieces.but after using a larger buckingham one as well i would go for one of those instead.

 

Or you could save some more pennies and go for Reg Coates's idea, It looks and works great!

We use a 1/2 inch line for small stuff. Have used a 18mm for bigger stuff but that was a struggle. Kinks up to much to make it safe, if you know what i mean

 

you really need a 4 to 1 bend radius which you barely get on the large ones for 18mm so would not push you weight limits with 18mm

buy a bigger one:thumbup1:

Yep Right on, Bob. The bend radius is too much on them small porawraps. when using a large diameter rope. Like i said we prefer the buckingham.

 

Or we get a guy with a hobbs:biggrin:

 

After seing reg's device. As soon as they are available thats were my moneys going.
