I don't recall seeing one of these before - how rare are they

They're kinda rare in my neck of the woods, and are somewhat notorious for faking owners out but good by browning out annually, kinduva deciduous conifer!

Fascinating tree. Like the bald cypress, it can grow in standing water too!

Pretty rare, I have seen two,'Gold rush 'I think.

I thought as much guys - I suggested trying to strike a cutting

One I was involved with planting at Moulton college and the other one is in Bedgbury pinetum.
