Choosing a 6100 over a 560xp seems like a very bad deal to me, regarding performance, weight and handling - but each to their own.

 

The 6100 also is a rather peculiar design, as they had to "design around" some patents. They didn't do it because it is a good option, but just to survive in the market.

Thanks for all replies and comments. I usually use oregon or husqvarna 2 stroke oil. I just thought I

would try a different make of saw for a change. If a 560xp goes for about 6 months without any

problems it's doing well. Maybe it's just the demands of full time forestry work,it's pretty hard on saws

plus my husqvarna dealer is bit slow at repairs. There's a lot of saws waiting to be fixed at his workshop.
