Yeah mines two years old now and always starts straight away. Brilliant money earner for the outlay

Hi Dan, what type of grinder do u have as it looks similar to my US Praxis PRX13 (GX390 Honda) from the pic u uploaded ? I need new teeth or have the 2 sets i have either re-tipped? or sharpened as i only bought this used machine recently and it's pretty blunt !

Yeah think it's pretty much identical to those but think had different teeth? Doesn't the praxis use the quadrablade setup?

well now Dan that i do not know! I bought this grinder, a SCAG mower and a large chipper as a job lot from a friend who had lots of kit but didn't actually use it very much as he mainly did Fencing and parish lengthsmen type work. I'll need to download the manual and make some inquiries as to what blade system it can use.

If it's the quadrablade system you'll have 4 sections each with 3 teeth

that's a big 10/4 Dan, i just looked at the used spare set i was given with the machine and sure enuf it's as you described above.

So your machine runs a 'Quadrablade' setup too i guess ? What do you do with the blunt sets, bin them or resharpen them with a grinding stone or send them off to be re-tipped ?

No mine has 12 individual teeth. I just keep touching them up with a diamond disc on an angle grinder until they're a pain to get an edge on then buy a new set

as for sharpening my manual to my alpha delta/ clone to rock machinery recommends green girt wheel and a aluminium oxide wheel in a bench grind and a little blurb on what to do these machine can take the quadar blade found on the small vermmer and praxis machines as my manual shows a pick of them in it
