Hi all, I'm sure this has been covered somewhere but would it be OK to use a prusik loop from my anchor ring on bridge to bottom oval krab on hitch climber to make pulling below hitch possible? I can't see a problem but new to setup so just after an opinion.

Thanks

Yeah ive did this, its fine as steve says as long as its a rated prussik.Look at the o rig aswell. Its the same idea as adding an extension at the bridge to your hitch climber but the system can be moved up or down to suit your climbing.Theres a thread on here about it,maybe some kind person will put up a link for you.

Its a sirus loop 10mm, ihave briefly looked at that setup, getting used to it at the mo. Does that system become disconnected if you unclipped ?

Should have worded better, I saw a picture once but was slightly concerned of dropping system as it looked like the whole setup was connected via rope eye karabiner

If your concernd about the system why not get a foot ascender rather than using an extension at your bridge. It works perfectly with the hitch climber setup

The foot ascender will pull the slack through as you ascend. Hip thrusting is hugely inefficient and wastes a lot of energy imo
