After 2 attempts with this setup I am of the opinion that a prussic loop is the way to go. While the Ropeman may slide up easier the fact that the Ropeman wants to advance while taking up slack takes all the advantage out of using the Ropeman. The prussic locks in both directions making this much more user friendly. The prussic also seems to make going back to the normal system easier also!

 

 

Changing TIP's is easy as long as you remember to clip the 'biner that the spliced end is attach to...........to the ring on the bridge.

I haven't given it another try yet. In the end I decided it was more trouble than it was worth. I did notice that Steve was using it in one of the photos he posted here somewhere.

im still playing around with it. i had that creep issue happen the other day when i switched to my edelrid rope....it hasnt happened with the fly or velocity which seems odd.

i think we're all missing something though.....its a pretty good system but it not quite there yet
