Hi guys, I hope I'm in the right forum I apologise if not. I am a self employed gardener going on 6 years now. I currently have a Hayter motif 48 lawnmower which ive had for 3 years and it's been perfect to be fair, but as I'm getting busier the gardens are getting bigger I am thinking of investing in a self propelled lawn mower. As I buy all of my equipment from stihl, I was thinking of getting a Viking mb 545vm Lawnmower. I understand it's not the top of the range viking mower but as I have to lift it into the back of my van I need something rather lightweight like my motif 48 now which is 32kg, I believe the mb 545vm is around the same weight. Does anybody have this mower for commercial use and are they worth investing in? Thanks for your time.

Viking are not built to withstand the rigours of commercial work, have heard there has been issues with drive etc, pick up in wet is supposed to be good. Etesia may be a better bet. Question should be in landscaping section, mods will transfer & you will get a better response.

Hope this helps
