Depending if shaver comes up with something better I'm thinking of buying eBay items 201565063744 or item 291738005520. Could I ask that take a look and tell me what you think of both the saw and the seller.

Hello

Compared to the 1st advert I can do you a brand new ps-420sc with everything you need to get you going for £50 more

And the second advert I can do you a used ps-5105 ready to go for £5 less money

The seller of the husqvarna is a good seller don't know anything about the 2nd seller

Thanks

The Dolmar PS 420sc is a cracking saw and for an extra £50 is a no-brainier.

I have two Makita (Dolmar made in Hamburg) saws, the tiddly 4610 and the 7901 with a 28" bar for my Alaskan and they have never missed a beat.

Although the tiny Echo is now the love of my life, the Makita/Dolmars are a class act.

I've never had the ps-46 here what are they like in the cut most people have opted for the 50cc in that chassis :thumbup:

I wasn't aware that you could get a 50cc for it but it uses all its 45cc's beautifully! And it was cheap.

Its on a 14" bar and it cuts really well compared to my MS181. What I like is its heft .... it it feels like a 'proper' saw. Solid build quality, starts first time as long as you get that choke back in immediately it pops, and runs all day. The only thing I do not like is that it drinks chain oil and there is no way to adjust it but, as a small saw, it is a delight to use.

It is getting on a bit now and has done some serious work so I bought the little Echo CS310 the other month. That is a smashing little saw.
