Hi thanks for all your very nice comments!

 

The book is "Chainsaw Carving a Bear" by Jamie Doeren, its not great some of it you have to use your imagination because there are not enough photos, better than nothing though. I used a cheap Ryobi 18", its great for carving because the bar tip is so small, I also have a few hand chisels I used as well.
