Okay, so you'll probably need to invest ("speculate to accumulate" maybe :001_rolleyes:), time, resources and money in the first instance but thereafter being 'ARB Approved' costs, on average, from about £600 per year +VAT (including Trustmark which is a government endorsed scheme seeking to offer a similar marketing opportunity to 'RP' and Check-a-Trade and Trusted Trader with web-based feedback.)

It would / should / could also better position your business to access commercial contracts, or at least "open doors." Just a thought.

Ok.... this might put me in the bad book on arbtalk

But, why did you not speak to the customer yourself about this issue, why did you have to phone the tree officer and grass him in ?

There is to many folks out there trying to get in the good book and look so bright and shiny.

I work with them at my main job, and this industry is in general very clean of grasses and brownie's.

sorry but I do not like the #reporting# characters at all, actually get out of my sight all together.

Best Regards

Stefan

I think anyone who requests to have a tree removed AFTER being told no by a tpo is dodgy and I wouldn't trust them to take the blame and not lump it at my door. As for grassing I think this was the right call, there are those who grass for personal gain and those who believe they are doing the right thing.

How is doing the right thing grassing :confused1: If I see a drunk, driving off in their car, I will be straight on the phone. Is that grassing, no, it's looking out for the next innocent family crossing the road. Winds me up that people feel they have to tip-toe around in case they upset someone. If you don't like the rules and regulations of the country you live in, then do one!

Oh, and no I haven't used "ratedpeople" :thumbup1:
