Haha, that disaster of a bowl looks like one of my attempts till Ian explained about the bowl gouge, only mine flew out of the lathe, down the drive and down the main road before I caught up with it...and that was after it hit the shed roof first :biggrin:

Our lass wants to know who planted the seed of woodturning in my head that suddenly made me spend loads o dosh and go out and buy a lathe.
