Subbing out stump grinding

So faced with a series of troublesome stumps in hard to reach places I subbed 2 jobs out.

One on a small site clearance the other for the new underground line in Rennes.

First job we got robbed on.

I had a deadline to meet and the local 'competitor' boosted his price accordingly. Even told me about the impact I have had on his turnover.

He may have reamed my sphincter over a few hard to reach stumps but in the game of long bowls I am clearly winning.

I got to see what a Carlton 5014 could do (blunt teeth)

Our 4012 with sharp teeth could beast a 5014 but alas could not mount the bank.

The second site clearance, we felled a line of cypress to make way for the new metro station.

The stumps we subbed out to the main contractor who dealt with them in our absence (sadly) along with his own stumps but was still on site when we passed on the last afternoon.

The 360 machine is 30t and the large 'pinch' I am sitting in was made in their own workshops.

This pinch is used to crush stumps thus removing most of the earth.

The crushed stumps then went through a Bandit beast.

I made nothing on the first job but grossed 3k on the second.

It cost me a few site meetings and calls, nothing more.

However dealing with disgruntled local 'competitors' is VERY much more difficult and alot less profitable.. .
