Top cut heavy limbs?

looked ok to me one word of warning watch out for it barber chairing and might be tempted to have saw on a seperate tool line i have done bigger and not had any probs other than it splitting up all cuts have there purpose imo

Who did that monolith in the close up pic's? I think it's great in the right place. If a tree has to come down as it is in decline or has Basal problems and its on edge of woodland but close to public footpath or road it's much better to take it down to a safe height and leave as monolith for habitat than leave timber lying on the ground. Standing deadwood is so good for wildlife.

 

I did today, one of my best ones until know! Im glad you appreciate it.
