Hi Jon. Yep it's some form of glass or Perspex. They added it as part of a flood defence a few years ago. It's done well until the river went over the top of it. Can't believe how much rain we've had.

Hodge, mother was evacuated at 11am. We've been told the river has gone right through the house now. Not looking forward to tomorrow. [ATTACH]194641[/ATTACH]

Hi JULES when you see PICS ON THE NEWS it not the same MY SELF AND SONIA went down to the Somerset levels in the Land Rover to see if we could help them out and the pumps down well I've not seen anything like it tens of thousands of gallons was being sprayed out of those pumps mate I wish well mate thanks for pics Jon
