Just bought a Jonsered CS 2255. EX DEMO cheap as chips. (husky Rancher). Any Comments Please.

it its anything like the rancher the be prepared for the oil pump to pack up within a short period of time mate

I have a 4year old 2150 jonsered and no probs to date, I also used to have the 2094 (donkeys years old) and v reliable. Cant fault them tbh:thumbup1:

ive got a jonsered 2165 turbo import with an 18" bar, i use it for coppicing and milling, never had a problem with it in 5 years until yesterday was doing some milling for a customer and it started to rattle a bit, then from nowhere it started to make a sound that can only be described as an rs cosworth exhaust or hot rod motor, the plate behind the exhaust had rattled free

 

its a shame it has to be fixed it sounded well cool with all that grunt, luckily it was at the end of the day

i have a 2165 turbo as well on an 18" bar a great saw with plenty power, no complaints reminds me of my all time favorite husky 266.

i love that saw, it can be a bit heavy wen the tanks are full but its got loads of grunt, has yours got the little blue button on the side?

yep has a decompression button on the engine, i like solid old style saws they seem to take the punishment better from me anyway.

no idea mate i got it at a car boot sale for £50 it was almost new but got sold cause it would not start, someone had put oil in the petrol tank and petrol in the oil tank

I,ve been told it,s next years model. fitted with a new 18" bar & chain. My only worry is it only has a single bar bolt (as aposed to the usual 2).
