When taking dismantling a stem

has anyone thought of haveing like a gri gri at base of tree, with the rope going up the pole and through a tied off sling and krab thn onto your harness. so if you did need rescueing all the groundie needs to do is lower you by the belay device at the bottom quick and simple and easy to set up, and easy to move down as you move down the pole.

tbh i have tried that but imo having a pulley that fits through the ring so it proper cinches up seems better

 

 

anyone that wants to can splice

but imo you have to want to

and then put the time and sore hands into making them easy to do

i was going to say splicing is easy but tbh splicing is easier now have got it sorted:thumbup:

 

oooh how'd u get them CE'd then bob??????? ha ha only teasing:001_tongue:
