Porcini nice! 0ne finely chopped clove garlic fried in butter, add 5 rashers chopped bacon or pancetta to garlic and continue to fry, add the Porcini and when its wilted add a small carton of double cream, pepper no salt, bring to boil ..

 

Cook some fresh egg tagliatelle, bought from any good supermarket, and mix with sauce...

 

Bon appetito

 

 

Or to get max flavour dry and re-hydrate.........

If you find plenty i'd suggest you dry them out in a low oven, sliced first, in Italy they rarely eat fresh Porcini or as we call them Penny bun..

 

Re-hydrate in hot water, Porcini chopped up in a beef and red wines stew tastes good served with polenta, put polenta on a wooden board, I used to have a disk of sycamore and put stew on top
