Flintshire Dragon

I was asked to carve a small Dragon and Chough in order to represent the bird on the Flintshire Flag and Flintshire being part of Wales, represented by the dragon. I carved it from what was in my head but, yet again, I have been throwing the paint around for the fangs, eyes etc then four coats of Tung oil to finish.

Just thought I would post it on here as this is my first dragon.

I did it as payment for a few loads of carving wood I had from the community council. It is a piece of Larch that was wind fallen last winter.

I don't know what price I would put on it really, I have been asked to carve other Dragons by people who passed by when I was carving it.

I suppose about £150 to £200, I m sure someone on here will give me an idea :confused1:
