i am a climber who volunteered as a tree warden for my parish council. To be honest i am disappointed by my role. I was led to believe that thay would look to me as a person of knowledge and experience in the industry and to advise them on certain aspects but not to have authority as a to would. fine. However when i do advise them on situatiuons we enter into a game of pass the buck or i don't really care. So nothing actually gets done until its too late and it snaps off and crushes somthing. then they are quick to complain. Also tried organising talks or walks to try and educate ppl but fopund most ppl thought they were too good for it and very poor response, which is a cryin ass shame cos my area has some awesome specimins. Shame no one is interested they don't know what they are missing
