I'm really curious as to what job you are doing that would require those properties.

Anything flame retardant isn't going to be flame retardant once it's soaked in chain oil. Is this to protect against arc flash around big electrics?

I can't see why anti static would be necessary. Are you felling inside an electronics lab? :) If it's for working around flammable vapours then your chainsaw is going to be a much bigger problem than your keks :)

I'm guessing your doing work for petrol stations,fore-courts refineries etc, i helped on a job few years ago we just wore flame retardant coveralls on top of chainsaw trousers, boots are the difficult bit, we couldn't find anti static chainsaw boots, had to use non-chainsaw boots and wrote it up in risk assessment, was only for one off job though. Not sure on your options if it's going to be regular work.

This is absolutely bonkers. /QUOTE]

Climbingmagnus, It's all bonkers mate.

Anyway, what is strange is that Cloggers appear to be the only manufacturer of chainsaw and FR trousers in the world. According to my google searching.

I've been in touch with them and got a quote and they even made reference to their competitors, so there are obviously other manufacturers.

Surely someone knows of other manufacturers.
