Dan. I reckon you could get another wrap on the bollard with 14mm.

 

I would have thought though that the extra diameter of the 16mm would equate to the same friction with less wraps. If I remember correctly the polydine is not that far off the working loads of a 19mm rope.

Yeah polydyne has a really good working load. Where did you get yours? I've seen Treekit has some per metre but it's expensive.

Sorry mate, I thought I had replied to that question.

 

I picked mine up from FR Jones and son. 50m Unspliced. It was quite expensive but I have had it 3 or 4 years.

 

I spliced an eye into it.

Do you find 50 m enough? I was hoping to get 60

I thought I had bought 60 but when i went on FR Jones website it said they only had 50.

 

Maybe I did get 60 after all. I think mine was about 280 inc at the time.
