Groundsman looking for work - Isle of Wight, U.K.

Hi,

I am looking for work as a groudsman in my home area of the Isle of Wight, U.K.

I am a student studying for a Foundation Degree (FdSc) in Arboriculture at Sparsholt College in Hampshire, and am out in a year's work placement to gain industry experience.

I am very willing and eager to work under an arborist to gain valuable experience.

I hold CS30 and CS38 currently, and own my own PPE, although not a harness.

I do not currently have my own transport, though am working towards it, though until then I am very willing to make full use of buses. I am located in Newport, so if convenient, I can be picked up if you're traveling through anyway, and will go to the most convenient place for you.

What with the poor economic climate, I am willing to work for a little less than standard groundsman rates, as gaining experience is both mine and the College's top priority.

I am happy in either an employed or self-employed role, and would really appreciate any work you may be able to offer.

Please contact me if you have any work or advice.

Thanks for reading.

I've a mate over in Ryde who does a fair bit of treework... I've given him a call and left a message... if he calls me back and says he's interested then I'll pass on his number.

Also I'm over in Lymington and if you could get to Yarmouth and the ferry I could pick you up from there... but don't know how practical/economical that would be for you.

Rob
