Our weather would make it nigh on impossible for drive in theaters to work in the UK. They do seem like a cool idea if you can hear the sound alright. Would have to be a gigantic screen though.

I went to a drive in at Santa Pod (MK) during the bug bash back in '91. they were trying to get the record for the largest drivin with only VW beetles... big old screen , tuned the stereo to the frequency. Needless to say it started to slash down in true british style so I sacked it off and went to the rave on the same site and saw 'the prodigy'...
