Hi, i've been offerd a chance to go work in europe, but i have to go self employed and fill out an E101. At the momment it will only be for 2 weeks but could lead on to a much longer contract. Any advice on how to go about this and what the pitfalls are, such as how does the tax situation work out when working abroad?

And also has anyone worked in sweden? what is it like?

Any help much appreciated, cheers.

Think a call to your local Business Link might be a start, Oh, and speak to your insurance company, as you will not be covered for working abroad on your present policy.

Depends some will cover you abroad but you have to notify them first.

I've just set up on my own . Business Link is a good place to start. Then talk to an accountant, tax can be iffy when working abroad. If you don't get the business right .it doesn`t matter how good at your craft you are, you'll be lucky to make a living. Get it right your half way there.

Good Luck
