Im going to do just that, finding the serial numbers on my saws was easy, but am I right in thinking that on the stihl blowers/hedgecutters they are stick on labels?

Also once registered on arbsafe, does it mean that the serial numbers go on a stihl database and if anyone takes a stolen machine into a stihl dealer they will know its been stolen?

It doesn't link directly to the database, but what it does give is any dealer the option of checking the serial number on the database to show if its marked stolen, and also the police thanks to the accreditation arbsafe has with the police secured by design initiative, so well worth getting listed, particularly as its entirely free!
