I'm looking to convert my Ford Ranger pickup truck into a tipper. I would like to use the original body. Looking at the Internet I can find a lot of companies in North America but nothing in the UK does anybody know of anyone that can do this over here in Blighty. Cheers

There is reasons for replacing with with a purpose made tipper.

1. Loss of volume

2. The pickup trays have wheel arches in them which would hinder flow of tipped material

3. Tailgate fouling issues on towball and other geometry issues.

4.Dropsides are very handy.

I know the look is utilitarian but the ozzie/kiwi style flatbed is far more efficient in many ways. You just need to spend a bit to make it look quality instead of a bodge.
