I considered getting my ford ranger re mapped!! What's the pros and cons?

 

 

Depends how you have it remapped can have it mapped for performance, economy or in the middle, if you push it too far on a performance map it will reduce the lifespan of the engine but if it's done well it won't effect the lifespan, if you get it done get a bespoke remap don't buy a chip as they aren't tailored for the individual vehicle

Yeah I wouldn't want to affect anything like the lifespan, as it gets worked very hard! And want it to last me :)

Looks awesome. Do you think you'll have any issues with the bull bars (from an MOT/'safety' perspective? I am not sure of the legality but I bet its a can of worms....

Go for ARB kit they produce the best stuff bit more expensive but well worth it plus they do a side rail and bull bar that integrate to protect the entire front end of the truck
