Sounds like it's the wishbones cheep easy fix on a transit £50 a side so should be about the same on cabstar, I doubt it's the prop as you said you can feel it tro steering do your problem is coming from the front end, hurry up & get it sorted before it starts knocking your tyres out or there's another £100 there,

If I was you I'd jack it up and move a few bits about with a bar to see where the play is coming from

So what holds all the hubs, shocks, etc ? Is it on leafs at the front ? It sounds like the bushes are nackerd ( it's been a few years since iv had any dealings with a cabstar )
