Green timber in West Yorkshire

Hi,

I'm new here but have been turning for a fair while. I want to branch out into more interesting stuff than - yet another bowl from a hardwood blank.

I've been thinking that turning green wood would be a new dimension. So any advice on where I could get my hands on some (preferably in the South Leeds / Wakefield area)?

Right now, I'm not too fussy on what, that may come when I've more experience but any hardwood, fruit wood etc. from small to pretty large (lathe can cope with 16" bowls). Especially interesting crotch wood, knotty wood etc.

Not looking for handouts, happy to pay, happy to collect etc.

So, if you can help, or know someone who can I'd like to hear from you.

thanks

Daniel
