Are the posts face mortised or just fixed to the front of the posts flaming-ace

just screwed on, then the feather edged boards nailed on, nothing fancy, looks good and does the job, also the owners pleased so thats a plus :thumbup: haha

very nicee beechwood, such an improvement

 

did this a while back

i did notice you have turned the top pin upside down! its better to turn the bottom one.

all treated timber that is cut should be treated with endseal.

but its a nice job
