ISC Rope Grab

Slight derail, apologies! I've retired a rope grab as the little wire that goes from the body of the grab to the cam is frayed. The loler report said to replace the wire. Has anyone done this before? Can't quite see how its done.

We had one fail for a broken wire but they passed it without a wire

Must be like a cars spare tyre, you don't need one but if you do it must function.

I recently replaced the wires on both of my rope grabs and it will fail a lolar test if missing or broken. They act as a spring on the cam. Very easy to do with the service kit from FR Jones. Instructions supplied.
