And yes, another survey would be good. How would one go about acquiring such data?

Despite saying I'd discounted a survey for my independent research project, the current threads have re-awakened my interest. If I could get as many replies as Mark Johnson did it would make an interesting comparison. I've been looking at TiT2 at some of the questions in the original questionnaire which could be asked again.

The main problem I can see is getting replies. (I wonder how many TOs and planning officers are on here and UKTC?) using the power of arbtalk to get email addresses of individuals with each authority might raise the reply rate! Another possibility is using the freedom of information request forms, but I think that would really complicated.

I'm just just musing on this at the moment, but am open to comment and/or suggestions.

I had the same thought, if I'm honest. If enough data can be acquired, a TiT2.5/3 could be initiated (at least to an extent).

I have available all TO emails in Essex and, at least partially, East Anglia, so there's a start. Really, if we got LTOA, EATaLOG, and other regional groups involved, who could forward surveys to their members, such an undertaking could be more simple than first thought.

Shoot me a PM if you want.
