barony level 3 arboriculture

Hi all, does anyone know if the level 3 arboriculture course at barony includes the cs38/39/40/41 tickets? if not is there anywhere else in scotland that provides them along with similair course material? thanks

Thanks but i was wondering more for the year long study HNC kind of things and if any of them include the climbing tickets?

The course covers the training on 38/39 but you have to arrange the assessment outwith the course. They normally do domestic tree jobs to raise money to cover assessment costs.

excellent thanks guys id go for something like H&W training if i could get the funds together but moneys tight at the moment, and i figured i could get SAAS assistance if it were in a college course

I studied the Level 3 at Barony last year and highly recommend it, there is a lot of theory work but its all relevant and stands you in good stead. There is the opportunity to do more training but the course content comes first obviously.

 

It was Stephen Hailes from H W Training that did my assessments on the course and they are involved in other training at Barony from time to time, very knowledgeable and easy to understand, as well as a good laugh.
