Ash poles

Hi All.

I've had a request for Ash poles from a yurt company that I can't fulfil.

They are initially looking for 200x 6'6" poles tapering to roughly 3/4 inch, and 100x 8 to 9 foot poles tapering to roughly an inch to inch and a half.

The customer is in Banbury but is happy to travel a long distance to collect.

Can anyone do this? I'm not looking to make anything out of it so name your price!

I believe their intention is to glue them together end to end to fashion a 2000ft long skewer with which to relieve Geoff of his lemon drizzle cake from a relatively safe distance.

 

Either that or they want to make yurts.

Cleft might be OK, what have you got?

phh thinking about it that'd eat through a lot of my stock for this year (I make chairs from it). It'd have to be £5/ pole for the little ones and £15/ pole for the big ones, I expect that's way to expensive.

 

Could pass on to someone who can do round hazel, they up for that?
