Upto 5 years from 1st Issue, but I'd replace on a case by case basis... If your store you helmet correctly and don't do any tree work then 5 years is cool... If you work in commercial arb then you know when you need a new lid.... the date of manufacture is on the lid normally a dial/clock with numbers...
