Who operates advanced decay detection in this area?

 

The client of the Oak posted previously about is interested in retaining it and wishes to establish the extent of the decay..

To get a basal reading, tarmac must be removed.

 

If the 40" dbh trunk had 4" shell wall, would that inform the owner's decision?

As long as I can get my trees enough light by keeping them clear of weeds, then the slower initial growth by not spraying doesn't really matter.
